Abstract
A Discussion about the Production and Use of Data about the Labor Market. The productive efforts to maintain and increase the amout of statistical data and administrative registries about the Labor Market in Brazil, despite the great improvements achieved during the 80's, don't get yet a coordinate action in order to guarantee the approximation among the different sources and the quality of data as to form an integrated System. Throughout an exercise of evaluation of the Labor Marlk.et during the 80's decade, this study aims to point out the common points, the differences and the problems of the various data sources which claim for urgent revisions. It concludes that any attempt in this way will necessarily lead to a more intense and democratic process of consultation among the productors and to the users, as a "sine-qua-non" condition to guarantee the rationalization and the improvements to the System.Downloads
