Abstract
Living together: comparing conjugal models. The article is an analysis on urban middle class heterosexual, gay and lesbian couples. Focusing upon the functioning of the egalitarian couple relationship, this study intends to investigate the nexus between egalitarianism, gender and sexual identity. Egalitarianism concentrates the sharing conception of conjugality and explains the way in which the structures of couple and its conditions operate on private life. Differences between the three conjugal relationships are observed, however, and they are connected to gender and sexual identity principles.Downloads
