Abstract
An essay about the differential fertility: stable families and (im)migrant families. The article intends to bring some elements concerning, mainly, the representativeness of the couples and their children who were recuperated by the methodology proposed by Henry for the study of the fertility in the past. The discussion is centered in the possibility of a different behaviour of the so-called EF families, in principle less stable than the families in the cathegory MF. To make possible the comparison, these latest families were treated as being EF cathegory, in other words, they were observed from the first born son in the parish in study.Downloads
