Abstract

The article has the main objective to analyze the flows and the stages of the migrations happened in the “mesoregions” of Minas Gerais, during the period 1986-1991. It is also evaluated the role of the migratory balances in the demographic growth of each one of the “mesoregions”. Interstate migrations and intra state migrations are also analysed. A technical procedure was elaborate in order to reach the objectives.
